Our Commitment
to Mental Well-Being
At Jasey’s Toy Chest, we believe every child deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported. That’s why emotional wellness is woven into the heart of everything we do, from the toys we create to the partnerships we build.
Our Mental Health Supporter badge, featuring a green ribbon and an orange hat, is a tribute to our late son Jason (“Jasey”), whose creativity and spirit inspire us every day. We lost Jason to suicide in 2019, after he struggled with his mental health for over a decade. His beloved orange hat gave him comfort and strength when the world sometimes felt overwhelming. Today, it represents our commitment to bringing hope and connection to families.
Jasey’s Toy Chest is committed to supporting youth mental health.
Together, we’re working toward a future where all children—and the adults they become—can thrive.
Supporting Mental Health, One Joyful Moment at a Time.

The Jed Foundation (JED) protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults. JED partners with high schools, colleges, school districts, and youth-serving community-based organizations to strengthen their mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention programs and systems.
“Jasey's Toy Chest understands what we know to be true: mental health support should begin in early childhood and continue through every stage of development into adulthood. Their commitment to building healthy emotional foundations from the earliest years creates a powerful continuum of care that complements JED's work protecting emotional health and preventing suicide among teens and young adults nationwide. We're proud to partner with an organization that shares our belief that emotional well-being isn't just a campaign or an idea—it's a commitment to ensuring young people have the tools, support, and resources they need to thrive.”
— Adee Shepen, Chief Growth Officer of The Jed Foundation (JED)
As a parent of two kids in the early childhood stage, I am beyond thrilled about the partnership between Jasey's Toy Chest and The Kids Mental Health Foundation. Raising healthy children can feel hard and overwhelming to many caregivers. We want to send the message that it can also be fun. Our partnership supports caregivers by giving them the tools to build kids’ mental wellness and connection during an activity kids do every day: play!
— Ariana Hoet, Ph.D., Executive Clinical Director of The Kids Mental Health Foundation (KMHF)
It’s exciting to partner with a company that understands how play is a key component we have in helping our kids learn and thrive. We can’t wait to share resources with families to help them build mental wellness skills along with play time!
