Accessibility at Jasey's Toy Chest
We believe play should be for everyone. That belief shapes how we design our toys — and how we want our website to feel, too.
We're working to make jaseystoychest.com welcoming and usable for all visitors, including those who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard most widely used for web accessibility.
Where we are
Our site is built on Squarespace, which provides a strong accessibility foundation, including semantic page structure, keyboard navigation, and a skip-to-content link. We've added descriptive image text, clear headings, and a layout designed to be easy to read and easy to move through.
What we're still working on
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a finish line. We're actively reviewing color contrast in some areas of the site, refining image descriptions, and testing with assistive tools to catch anything we may have missed.
